LWMC workers awarded

Albayrak, the sister organisation of the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC), has awarded cash prizes to ten sanitary staff members for showing excellence in performance in last month. Prize money of Rs 5000 has been distributed among sanitary supervisors whereas Rs 3000 each have been given away to the best performing sanitary workers and drivers. During an official lunch arranged for the sanitary staff by Albayrak, the Albayrak General Coordinator Bunyamin Karaca said he was here from Istanbul on a mission to make Lahore a cleaner city and that he and his team were determined to improve Lahore’s cleanliness situation. He said the workforce is committed and honest and is passionate about working for their city. LWNC MD Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, General Manager for Operations Khalid Majeed, Human Resources and Administartion GM Ejaz Hussain and other officers were also present on the occasion. Waseem Ajmal said honesty and hard work will be rewarded by the company. He said he is pleased to welcome the Istanbul-based company in and was hopeful of positive results from these collaborations. He stated that these motivational initiatives are appreciable and help in boosting the morale of the workers who are exerting their efforts to keep the city clean.
