District Officer Civil Defence has asked the owners and management of all industrial and business centers to update fire extinguishing equipment and other arrangements in their respective buildings. Civil Defence department will check the buildings of industrial and business centers and inspect the fire extinguishing arrangements and equipment, he said. Civil defence department warned legal action would be initiated if the arrangements were not found upto mark and as per specified requirements.
