Students of Allama Iqbal Open University’s Islamabad Regional Campus exhibited immense talent and patriotism in the National Songs competition held the other day.
The competition was held as a part of the series of Pakistan Day celebrations. Vice-Chancellor (AIOU), Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmed Sangi was the chief guest on the occasion.
A large number of students participated in the event. The Mili Naghmay were full of excitement as the students participated with great enthusiasm to pay homage to their beloved motherland. The participants with their outstanding skills and expressions kept the audience charged up with enthralling performance through out the contest. As per judgment criteria, the Champion of the day was Wasim Bashir, Noman Adil secured the second position while Syeda Shazina Zaid was declared as the winner of third position. The Chief Guest, Dr. Sangi gave away the prizes to the winners.
