Traffic police issued a special traffic plan on the occasion of Shuhada Day to be observed on April 30.
The day will be observed in the memory of all the heroes who have written their deeds of valour and incomparable tales of selflessness and bravery. In the afternoon Shalimar Chowk to T&T Chowk, Mall Road, T&T Chowk to Chungi No.22, Tameez ud Din Road, (CMH family ward, Indus Road, LalKurti, Nust Chowk, Convent School Chowk and Kashmir Road will be closed for all kinds of traffic. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Ghulam Abbas Tarar urged the citizens to use alternate routes to reach their destinations. The traffic coming from Katcheri will take a u-turn on Shalimar Chowk towards sarwar road and to Sir Syed Road. The traffic will move from Marrir Hassan chowk towards Saddar the CTO said will be diverted towards Haider Road and towards Peshawar Road. The traffic on GPO to T&T Chowk and Mall Road to Kashmir Road traffic will not be disturbed. The traffic will move on Adara Road, Sher Khan Road, Abid Majeed Road, Qasim Market from Peshawar Road. No traffic on Lal Kurti, Indus Road, Convent School Tameez ud Dinroadand traffic will ply on Lal Kurti towards Aziz Bhatti road, Tufailroad.
