‘Five top politicians under threat from al-Qaida’

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Friday that five top politicians of the country were under threat by Taliban and al-Qaida militants.
Talking to journalists in Islamabad, he said his name was also in the hit list of militants and he did not want to name others as they would be threatened. “I have informed other politicians regarding the threats,” he said.
Responding to a query regarding Bin Laden’s family, Malik said that Pakistan had not given United States any access to the family adding that if Saudi’s would give access to the family it would be their decision.
“US has shared intelligence information with Pakistan,” Malik said adding that they also shared information gathered from Bin Laden’s hide out in Abbotabad.
