English rock band The Rolling Stones’ lead vocalist Mick Jagger and founder member Keith Richards will head back to the studio next week to start new sessions. Guitarist Ronnie Wood has confirmed plans to start new sessions ahead of the legendary band’s 50th anniversary celebrations, reported Contactmusic. Richards previously confirmed plans for new studio sessions with Wood and drummer Charlie Watts which could also include fifth member and original bass player Bill Wyman. “We’re back in touch, which is great, because I hadn’t really spoken to him for years,” said Richards. Wyman, who had left the group in 1992 was present for group practices held in London last December. “On the third day, Mick turned up, which was a real joy. Because I set it up really as a magnet, you know,” Richards said. When asked if Wyman would rejoin the band he said, “I think he’s up for it.”
