It was one of the most apt ways of promoting the film – Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn raced superfast luxury sports vehicles around the F1 track at the Buddh International Circuit to promote their film ‘Tezz’. And ‘Tezz’ was exactly how they went around the track, their powerful vehicles roaring deafeningly. It started with the two actors being briefed by FarhanVohra, race director and GM – Operations at the track, followed by a test drive in a Mercedes at the track. After ending that lap, the actors got into a Lamborghini each, with host and organiser Manish Yadav in the third. “Anil bhai is a really close friend, so I organised this to help them promote their film,” said Manish, adding that he’d nudged Anil’s Lamborghini slightly from behind with his, just to scare him. And away the three went, making the stands echo with the sound of speed as the cars zoomed by. Later, during the press conference, when asked how fast they went, Ajay said, “I never noticed!” Anil added, “We must have touched 260-270kmph. It was a fantastic experience, like an addiction.” The movie is going to release on 27th April 2012 and distributed by IMGC global. The PR of the movie is handled by Encyclomedia PR.
