The gang-rape victims were sent to Darul Aman on Monday (April 23) and they were supposed to appear before the magistrate on Wednesday April 25 for recording their statements.
The magistrate said before taking any statement from the gang raped victims, they have to be given some time to ponder over the matter in neutral environment. He was of the view that the victims have been living under the supremacy of their parents after the immoral incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Shahzad Town Police Station on April 4. Therefore, they have to be facilitated impartial atmosphere before articulating statement in the office of magistrate. The counsel Sardar Tariq Gopang of gang raped victims condemned the order of the magistrate for sending them to Darul Aman. He informed that he filed the application under section 164 CrPC in which there is no need to keep them into judicial custody at Darul Aman for any reason. In fact, they were supposed to take statement without any further delay.
The application was submitted to Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Firasat Ali Khan that later on forwarded to Executive Magistrate Hussain Bahdur.

  1. Since there are no names mentioned of the gang rape victims, can we assume that their names are fiza batool and asifa zardari?
