Islamabad IGP Bani Amin Khan gave approval to the promotions four sub inspectors and eight assistant sub inspectors to next ranks, on the recommendation of the departmental promotion committee.
The four sub inspectors promoted to the rank of inspectors in BPS-16, are Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Tufail, Basharat Ali Shah and Naeem-ud-Din. Likewise, ASIs Amjad Mehmood, Muhammad Idrees, Anwar Ali, Gul Sher, Zafar Iqbal, Muhammad Riaz, Muhammad Hanif and Atif Hussain were promoted to the rank of sub inspector (BPS-14).
