A major paintings’ group show titled ‘Vision’ is getting underway at the Revivers Galleria in Gulberg from this evening (Thursday).
On display in the group exhibition are the selected artworks of 11 renowned artists of the country.
These artists include AQ Arif, Salman Farooqi, Khalid Saeed Butt, Babar Azeemi, Abrar Ahmad, Moazzam Ali, Tanveer Farooqi, Muhammad Arshad, Wajid Yaqoot, Maqbool Ahmad and Maham Gull.
Some of the participating artists, who hail from Lahore, Karachi and other parts of the country, are likely to attend the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition.
According to the owner and the curator of the Revivers Galleria Sara Anjum, the group art show is scheduled to continue for a fortnight till May 10th.
She said more than 50 paintings of these artists, which have been done in different mediums, including oil, ink and acrylics, are being displayed in the exhibition.
She expressed the hope that the exhibition will be appreciated by artists, art lovers and collectors.
According to her, the Revivers Galleria completed three years of its existence in February this year, during which it has organised a number of solo and group art shows, all of which have been quite successful.
