Ali Musa Gilani, son of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, has denied having any connection with the ephedrine quota allotment case.
Ali Musa, along with his counsel Fawad Chaudhry, appeared before the investigation officer of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) in ephedrine quota case on Thursday.
Talking to media persons prior to appearing before the investigation officer, Musa Gilani again denied involvement in the respective case.
“I have no connection to this case…I am not an accused…I will repeat the same statement before the investigation officer also,” Musa Gilani said.
He said he had to appear before the investigating officer on April 30, but in compliance with the Supreme Court’s orders, he was appearing before the officer on April 26.
It should be mentioned that the ANF had submitted a report before the Supreme Court formally naming eight accused, including Musa Gilani, for their alleged involvement in the scam. The report said that the accused managed to convert the allotment of drugs intended for export into local use with the help of the Health Ministry staff and under alleged political pressure from Musa Gilani and Mian Abdul Sattar.
Musa Gilani has repeatedly denied involvement and has said that he is being wrongly implicated in the case.
Moreover, during repeated media interactions, Prime Minister Gilani has indirectly been warning officials against implicating his son in the case.

  1. How auabasbedly they are smiling as if returned from some pleasurable college trip. Its so tragic that a thief who steals mobile & caught by police is beaten black and blue & the society turns so hostile towards him, while those who embezzle billions smile shamelessly & pose snaps in front of media.

We have reached the worst ebb of immorality & these leaders have really fallen below all levels of acceptable social behaviours.

  2. how can you call these thugs as SYEDS.Allah will punish them. i sincerely hope that sooner than later
