A spokesman of the Prime Minister’s House has described the news story published in a section of print media that alleged the PM House of stopping the ANF from summoning Ali Musa Gilani for investigation as a pack of lies and devoid of truth.
The spokesman said that Syed Ali Musa Gilani returned from abroad to Pakistan only to face the investigations and no letter was written to any quarter by the PM’s House to hamper investigations.
The spokesman further said that Syed Ali Musa Gilani said on record, “I am waiting for the ANF call to appear before investigators to record my statement”.
The story of the correspondent is therefore a figment of imagination, the spokesman said, adding that the correspondent should have seen the statement of Ali Musa Gilani which was widely reported both in print and electronic media.
