Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the rulers were involved in corruption from head to toe and were only worried about safeguarding and prolonging their rule. Talking to the former PML-Q MPA Mrs Surriyah and PML-N Sindh President Ghous Ali Shah separately at Jati Umra on Monday, Nawaz said the agenda of his party was not aimed at grabbing power, but to put the country on the road to progress and prosperity. During the meeting, Mrs Surriyah announced to join the party and reposed full confidence in the leadership and policies of Nawaz. The PML-N chief welcomed her to the party, saying the agenda of his party was to bring an end to corruption and rid the people of the country of inflation and unemployment. He said the rulers were utterly unconcerned with multifaceted problems of the masses and were hell bent in doing corruption. Nawaz said his party would definitely form a government in the centre by securing majority in all four provinces in the general polls. The PML-N chief said problems of the masses in Punjab were being resolved owing to sincere and tireless efforts of the government.
