A lawmaker belonging to Fazlur Rehman’s Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) was arrested on Monday after being found guilty in a fake degree case.
Kishor Kumar was elected member of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly in 2008 on minority seat of JUI-F ticket.
During Election Commission of Pakistan’s scrutiny into lawmakers’ academic record, he was found to have submitted a fake degree.
On Monday, Kumar was brought before a session court judge in Dera Ismail Khan for the case hearing.
