A clash between two brothers over the ownership of their family business claimed the life of an A-level student on Sunday night.
Per details, Zakauddin and his elder brother Ziauddin owned Bio-Amla shampoo manufacturing factory but both brothers fell out with each other more than a year ago and the latter started implicating his younger brother in fake cases in an attempt to take over the business.
Reportedly, Ziauddin had registered seven cases of rape, robbery, kidnapping and firing against Zakauddin in different police stations of Lahore, Gujranwala and Kasur. However, after an inquiry conducted by DIG Major Mubashar, Zakauddin was cleared in all the cases and departmental action was initiated against two DSPs, three inspectors and 13 other policemen.
Ten days ago, Ziauddin implicated Zakauddin’s son Shez Ahmed, an A-Level student, in a firing case. Shez secured interim bail and his case was due to be heard today (Tuesday).
On Sunday night, Shez went to bed but did not wake up. Doctors said that he had passed away in his sleep due to heart failure.
Shez’s father Zakauddin said that his son was in severe depression after the registration of the fake case and it had ultimately taken his life.
