8th Health Asia kicks off today

Sindh Health Minister Dr Sagheer Ahmed would inaugurate the 8th Health Asia International Exhibition & Conference on Tuesday (today) at the Karachi Expo Centre. Delegates from more than 11 countries are attending the event.
There are over a hundred stalls at the exhibition where more than 70 international and domestic exhibitors are showcasing their products and services.
Over 51 foreign delegates are also gracing the event from more than 11 countries, including China, Taiwan, India and the United Arab Emirates.
The event would be open only for trade corporate visitors from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm daily. Over 35,000 visitors are expected to visit during the three-day event.
Health Asia is the only Global Association of the Exhibition Industry-approved health sector event in Pakistan, which provides enormous opportunities of learning, information sharing, mutual cooperation and combined projects to all the stakeholders in the Asian health sector.
Since its inception, the event has proved to be the best across the entire spectrum of healthcare, as it integrates delivering the best interactive opportunities to participants and an ideal environment to the audiences.
In short, the exhibition delivers to exhibitors the right balance between health industry players, senior decision makers and practitioners.
The second day of the exhibition shall comprise an international conference titled ‘Quality in Healthcare’ encompassing different topics.
On the third day, ‘International Workshop on Information & Communication Technologies in Health Care’ would highlight the important relevant topics.
The 8th Health Asia is being organised by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan with the support of the Sindh Health Department, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Pharma Bureau of Information & Statistics, Board of Investment, Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, National University Hospital Singapore, Smart Health Care, Parkway Health Singapore, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Members of National Healthcare Group, Pakistan Standards & Quality Control Authority, Pakistan Surgical Manufacturers Association, and Jamal’s Yellow Pages of Pakistan.
