Farooq Ahmad held in Srinagar

Indian police have arrested Farooq Ahmad Dar Chairman JKLF-R (Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R), from the residence of his relatives at Bemina in Srinagar. According to Kashmir Media Service, the JKLF-R spokesman told media in Srinagar that the police took Farooq Dar into custody during nocturnal raids and shifted him to some unknown place. He said party Chairman was arrested for raising his voice against the ongoing human rights violations by Indian police and troops in the occupied territory.
