‘Only Imran can unite Pakistan’

It is highly commendable that Imran Khan held rally in Balochistan when Inspector General Police Balochistan is performing his official duties sitting in Islamabad instead of Quetta and CM Balochistan is scared of going to the public places due to security reasons Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader and former minister Malik Abdul Qayyum said on Monday.
“Only a leader committed to the cause like Imran Khan could have held such a massive historic public rally in Quetta—-the largest ever to be staged by any political party in the recent years” he said.
He said the main purpose behind this political activity was to show solidarity with the people of Balochistan and to share in their grief and sorrows to assure them that the PTI was concerned about their problems. He added PTI Chairman Imran Khan was given a warm welcome by the people and the gathering represented all segments of the society comprising different age groups, including a sizeable congregation of women who cheered for PTI leader and chanted party slogans. Most pleasurable thing was seeing people carrying national flags and participating in playing national anthem.
Qayyum claimed that the people at large throughout the country, irrespective of their party affiliations, had appreciated the PTI chairman’s sincere effort to resolve the issue of Balochistan through dialogue involving all concerned stakeholders by taking them on board to alter the fate of the province through a change which was on cards.
