Sindh minister Abdul Salam Thaheem passes away

Sindh provincial minister Abdul Salam Thaheem passed away after protracted illness here in the wee hours of Sunday.
According to details, Abdul Salam Thaheem, who was suffering from kidney problem, was under treatment in a private hospital in Karachi where he breathed his last early Sunday morning. The funeral prayers of the deceased were offered at his native town Tayyab Thaheem. Hundreds of people including family members, relatives, senior politicians, MPAs and people of the area attended the funeral prayers.
President Asif Ali Zardari has condoled the death of the minister. In his condolence message to the family of Abdul Salam Thaheem, Zardari prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and other senior politicians have expressed profound grief over the sad demise of the Abdul Salam Thaheem. They lauded the role of the deceased in the politics and development of the province and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
