Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that federal government doesn’t seem interested in implementing the recommendations of energy moot. He was talking during a high level meeting held here on Sunday to review the ongoing power crisis in the province.
Shahbaz said that Punjab was facing the worst situation due to the prolonged and unscheduled loadshedding, adding that Punjab was intentionally deprived of electricity and other facilities despite bring a key contributor to the country’s economy.
Shahbaz urged the federal government to take steps to end energy crisis so that people of the province could take sigh of relief. He also summoned a meeting of traders on Tuesday to review the energy crisis and discuss proposed suggestions to overcome the situation.
