Former Pakistani Ambassador to United States Husain Haqqani has said that some elements were threatening him on social networking websites.
According to Haqqani, he received threats on Facebook, Twitter and other social networking websites.
The former envoy has also lodged a complaint and submitted proof in US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to track the culprits.
Husain Haqqani had to resign after Pakistani-American businessman Mansoor Ijaz had claimed that he was asked by Husain Haqqani to deliver a memo to the former US military chief General Mike Mullen, seeking US support to avert a military takeover following the killing of Osama bin Laden in May.

  1. Yeah, now all of a sudden, the idiot has learnt all about the social networks. I bet, he will say he received thread on PakistanToday website as well. Hope this pathetic excuse of a man gets hanging by the court.

    • Khan Sahab you might be the idiot here as that man has been on social networking site for years and has not JUST learnt about them.

  2. He is such a cry baby. I am disappointed in SC for not having delivered the verdict in memo case so far. I feel they are just dragging it on untill closer to the elections to see which way the wind is blowing and then delivering verdict accordingly.
