Bhoja aircraft crash: 17 buried in Islamabad, Rawalpindi

Thirteen people who died in Bhoja plane crash were buried in H-11 graveyard here on Saturday. According to the details, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) dug out 30 graves in a row for the burial of the people who died in the plane crash in the H-11 graveyard. The people who have been buried include a resident of Karachi Adeel Chughtai, his wife along with three daughters and a son. Talat Mehmood, Baqir Mehndi of residential sectors I-10/4 and I-10/2 have also been buried. Sarwat Mumtaz of G-11/3 was also buried with her daughter and son. PM’s Taskforce chairman along with CDA chairman reviewed all the arrangements made for the burial of bodies. The CDA chairman said he was directed to make arrangements for thirty graves. He also told that 12 ambulances, 6 fire brigades and over 200 personnel of CDA are carrying out the rescue operation. Meanwhile, four plane crash victims were buried in different graveyards of Rawalpindi on Saturday. According to the details, the four dead bodies were handed over to their families at the Pakistan Medical Institute (PIMS) after the identification. The four who died in plane crash belonged to Rawalpindi that includes Asif Aftab (37), who were doing business in Karachi, Asif Zubair and Mrs. Fehmida Zubair resident of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and Haris Hassan (22). The funeral prayer of Asif Zubair and Fehmida Zubair was offered in the Eidgah Graveyard and were buried there while Haris Hassan was buried in Dhok Elahi Bux graveyard.
