World Health Organization (WHO) is working with the Government of Punjab to support preparations for the up-coming three day National Immunization Campaign, which is going to start in Punjab from 23-25 April. WHO has joined hands with the Government of Punjab, in their campaign for polio control and WHO will continue providing technical assistance to the Government of Punjab regarding Polio eradication, said Focal Person Polio Eradication WHO.
In this campaign, over 38,000 vaccination teams will be moving house to house to vaccinate 18 million children in Punjab. This campaign will be monitored by District Health Authorities and international partners.
