Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s son Ali Musa Gilani postponed his return to Pakistan, as he could not get a pre-arrest bail in the Ephedrine drug case involving a corruption of over Rs 7 billion.
Sources said that Ali Musa had been asked to stay back in Dubai because the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) had decided to arrest him upon returning to Pakistan. According to reports, Ali Musa was scheduled to reach Islamabad from Dubai on Friday morning, and the protocol staff of the Prime Minister’s House had reached the airport to receive him. However, the PM’s son suddenly postponed his return. His counsel Fawad Chaudhry told a private TV channel that an application for the pre-arrest bail of Ali Musa Gilani would soon be filed in the apex court. However, Chaudhry was reluctant to specify a date or time for the application’s submission. But sources said that Ali Musa would return only after he was granted a pre-arrest bail by the court.
The Supreme Court had earlier issued a notice to Ali Musa Gilani and directed him to appear before it, as part of the ongoing investigations regarding the import of controlled substance Ephedrine, and the subsequent attempts to hush up an enquiry into the matter. The PM’s son, who had flown to South Africa just before the issuance of the notices, has claimed that he was being “wrongly” implicated in the case.
This guy is a criminal, if he is innocent , with daddy as the PM he should not be worrying, but it is evident that he is anything but innocent. The SC should drag him to Pakistan if he refuses to come on his own. This guy is a drug baron.The authorities should take help of Interpol to bring him back.

it is correct that PM family is criminal and one was earlier charged for the Hajj scandal while the other committed offence of ephedrine and was charged by the ANF and PM also paid their services inside the jail for a period of 5-years in the illegal appointments in previous and one of his close fried was appointed as Chairman of a department despite that he was matriculate and upon the hue and cry of Media he was moved to another job. Living abroad one is dependent on a quality newspaper like Pakistan Today about news in Pakistan. It would appears almost everybody is corrupt. The president, Gilani family,some of the ministers, some judges,some generals , the sharif family–the list goes on and on! Is there any honest person?
One thing which surprises me again and again is the character assasination of the people. Such claims unless proved would be open to criminal prosecution.

Postponement of return of Musa to Pakistan clearly shows his involvement in the scandal. Yousaf Raza Gilani has surpassed Zardri in corruption and deserves no leniency. He should be immediately dismissed from the post of PM who is directly involved in numerous scandals involving billions of rupees. All his property should be confiscated and should be debarred from politics for ever. He has proved himself mosr corrupt person in the history of Pakistan. Opposition is equally responsible for this corruption who has completely failed to stop this corruption in the country.Supreme Court should immediately dismiss this government.
