Moroccan judges meet LHC CJ

A delegation of Moroccan Judges called on Lahore High Court Chief Justice, Sheikh Azmat Saeed, and discussed the judicial systems of both countries.
The delegation, headed by Chief Justice of Supreme Court of Morocco, Mustafa Faress, also included the President of Chamber at the Court of Cassation, Brahim Zaim, President of Chamber at the Court of Cassation, Ahmed Benzakour, President of Chamber at the Court of Cassation Abderrahmane Mesbahi El Aouame, and Ambassador of Kingdom of Morocco in Pakistan, Mohammad Rida El Fassi.
Distinguished guests evinced keen interest in the judicial system and different phases of dispensation of justice prevalent in Pakistan. CJ, Azmat Saeed, said it was an honour for him to welcome such a high level judicial delegation from a brotherly Islamic country. An unending relationship existed between both the countries due to strong bonds of common religion of Islam and its traditions, the LHC CJ said.
There were a lot of avenues for benefiting from the judicial systems of both the countries and these can be further augmented with mutual cooperation and difficulties hampering the process of dispensation of justice can be curtailed, he added. Souvenirs were also exchanged as a memento of this event. The guests thanked CJ for extending a warm welcome and sincere hospitality.
