Managing to steal some time from her back-to-back schedule, Priyanka Chopra came to Rajasthan to attend her friend’s wedding. There was even talk that she had gone off to the US for a fortnight to learn music, meet Katy Perry and all. But those things were scheduled for later. She came here to make sure the wedding of her friend, organised by her, went off well. The wedding rituals started in a sub-urban luxury resort situated in far off village off Jaipur. Priyanka reached Jaipur on April 13, two days ahead of the wedding, so that she can participate in the sangeet ceremony among other rituals. Our source said, “She took keen interest in each and everything related to her friend’s wedding. She wanted it to be a royal affair that everyone would remember. Priyanka even organised a hen party for her best friend a day before the sangeet. The party was well attended and everyone had fun till the wee hours on Friday night, leaving Priyanka and her friends tired to the core.”
