Three young labourers injured themselves badly after cutting their skin with blades in a protest outside Mozang Police Station after being disheartened by the police’s refusal to register a robbery case on Wednesday.
The injured young labourers were identified as Mubashir, Murtaza and Waqar. The labourer while talking to reporters said some unidentified robbers had snatched mobile phones and cash from them on gun point late on Tuesday night.
They claimed that four cops of Lahore Police were patrolling the area but none of them had intervened.
The injured labourers claimed that later, they reached the Mozang Police Station to report the incident but the officials threw them out of the police station and they had cut their skin in protest.
No action had been taken till the filing of this report.
