4 bonded labourers recovered from PML-N MPA’s ‘jail’ in Faisalabad

The police recovered four bonded labourers from private prison of a PML-N MPA in Faisalabad on Wednesday. According to details, a contractor from Sahiwal, Muhammad Shaban, had moved a writ petition in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Shahbaz Ahmad with the request that PML-N MPA Ajmal Asif had detained four workers in his private jail. Upon directives of the court, the police conducted a raid on the den of the MPA and recovered four bonded labourers identified as Muhammad Ramzan, Nawaz, Ghulam Mustafa and Rustam Ali from there. The recovered labourers told reporters that Asif had detained them where they were bound to work without any remuneration.
