PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week ends on a high note

The Pakistan Fashion Design Council in collaboration with Sunsilk presented the final day of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week that brought to the forward collections from 25 design labels, six Voile Shows and a fully equipped exhibition area. On day 4, actress Mahira Khan was revealed as the Sunsilk brand ambassador and she screened her Sunsilk Expert Studio campaign. The highlights of the show included Sania Maskatiya’s show for which musician Kiran Chaudhry walked the ramp as her show stopper. For their collection, The House of Kamiar Rokni collaborated with accessories designer Farhat Ahmad who had created hand bags, belts and shoes using the design house’s collection prints while adding a dash of suede for a touch of luxury. The collection was introduced with a video, which had been produced, directed and stylised by Maram and Aabroo with Noorey Bhatti as the model. Leading beauty brand, Luscious Cosmetics has also teamed up with The House of Kamiar Rokni for exclusive giveaways of their makeup products that best depict the mood and shades of the collection. For Republic’s show, designer Kamiar Rokni, stylist Shammal Qureshi of Toni and Guy and jeweller Taimoor Chaudhry of Damas walked the ramp as the showstoppers. The PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week was produced, choreographed and directed by HSY and his team with Maheen Kardar Ali and Zara Shahjahan for front stage management. Mohsin Ali and Akif Mahmood managed the exhibition area. The stylists were Shammal Qureshi and the team at Toni and Guy, Khawar Riaz and Maram and Aabroo. Fahad Hussayn and Ali Xeeshan worked alongside the style teams for hair and makeup, Kamiar Rokni and Asim Naeem oversaw green room management while official photography was by Faisal Farooqui and the team at DragonFly. Media Partners for the event were HUM TV and Style 360 and event sponsors were Sunsilk as title sponsor with further patronage by Lux, Ponds, Zong and Bank Alfalah. The event was coordinated by the Rteam, with foreign buyer and media management by Latitude and PR by Lotus.
