IIUI cultural week to begin from 17th

Students of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), belonging to various communities and countries, will exhibit innovative products in the 24th cultural week on Tuesday (today).
The mega exhibition will reflect the cultural diversity of the Muslim world and some other countries where Muslims constitute sizeable minority status.
Students from 42 Muslim countries will participate in this international Islamic exhibition to exhibit their cultures, including dress, poetry, paintings, photographs, foods, art and literature.
Saudi Arabia, Iran, UAE, China, Afghanistan, countries from ASEAN, SAARC and all the provinces of Pakistan would set up their stalls.
The event will be open for families from the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The university has invited different manufacturers and traders to set up their stalls for the promotion of their brands. HEC Chairman Dr Javaid Leghari will inaugurate the cultural week (male) to be held Tuesday (today) at the new campus. AJK President Sardar Yaqoob Khan will be the chief guest on the occasion. The cultural week (female) will be inaugurated on April 18 (Wednesday) at the Faisal Masjid campus of the university. The prize-distribution ceremony (male) will be held on April 19 (Thursday) and the concluding ceremony (female) will be held on April 20 (Friday) in which the prizes will be given to the winning students of various competitions. A grand mushaira will be held on April 27 (Friday) at the Faisal Mosque Campus of the university.
