Foreign Affairs Secretary Jalil Abbas Jailani on Saturday said Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar would soon visit the US to resume dialogue process with Washington. He said dialogue process with the US would be initiated soon. Jilani said negotiations between both the countries that remained suspended for some time would be resumed in coming days. The secretary further said parliamentary recommendations which were adopted by both the National Assembly and Senate members would be implemented. The foreign secretary said Pakistan would strengthen its mutual relations with the other countries of the region including India. Pakistan and the US are all set to negotiate after their bilateral relations plunged into new low after US cross border attacks on Pakistani check-posts that killed over dozen soldiers. Islamabad would put its recommendations approved by the joint sitting of the parliament on new guidelines on foreign policy with special focus on US, on the negotiating table.

    • To Anon and KAMRAN,
I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of the title of this newspaper; 'Pakistan Today.' As a teenage born and brought up in England, I take pride in saying that I am Pakistani. However, I am sometimes unfortunate enough to stumble across comments such as your own which showcase the narrowminded and indecency that still exists among a minority of pakistanis.
Hina Rabbani is the foreign minister of your country, not the national whore. I presume you have sisters, a mother or daughters. Would you be pleased to hear her being OBJECTIFIED as a sex symbol just as you are doing to this young lady? No. Therefore, I kindly request you keep such thoughts to yourself, repent and refocus on the actual subject of this article. US AND PAKISTANI RELATIONS. Something that will never change unless you do.

This is Pakistan Today. Make it seem so.

      Regards,
a sixteen year old who seems to have a better grip on the world than you.
