A two-weekend Italian food festival was inaugurated at a hotel on Friday evening.
The hotel’s general manager, Azeem Qureshi, welcomed the chief guest, Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Media Sharmila Farooqi, for inaugurating the festival.
The food festival is being organised under the programme “Journey through Europe” and will continue for two weeks on Fridays to Sundays.
Talking to the media persons, Farooqi praised the Italian dishes for being well-presented and compared the festival to visiting Italy.
“It was a good effort and such events should be organised regularly for providing entertainment to the people,” she added.
