The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police claimed to have arrested a notorious car thief and recovered four cars from him. A spokesman of Islamabad police said the CIA police arrested notorious car lifter Mehmood Hussain, a resident of Thanda Pani Islamabad, and recovered four stolen car form his possessions. The spokesman said that the car lifter was used to sell stolen cars after preparing their fake documents. He further said: “During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed that he along with his accomplice Rizwan Shah had lifted many cars from Islamabad and later sold them to Badshah Khan, a resident of Charsada.” The spokesman said four cars (Honda Civic LRM-383, Honda City Car LWO-3293, Toyota Corolla Car LOE-4238 and Shehzor LES-8457) were recovered on the pointation of nabbed accused. SP Islamabad Muhammad Yousuf Malik has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials to take effective steps to curb activities of anti-social elements.
