Disgraced cricketer Mohammad Asif is to be released on May 4 from the Canterbury Jail after serving 6 months sentence for spot-fixing. Mohammad Amir, one of the three disgraced Pakistani cricketers convicted by a UK court for spot fixing, was released after serving sentence in the same spot fixing case in February. Salman Butt, a former captain of Pakistan cricket squad and the third member of the disgraced trio convicted in the spot-fixing case, is still serving sentence at the Canterbury jail.
