Lahore Development Authority Director General Ahad Khan Cheema has imposed the major penalty of dismissal from service on WASA Director Syed Iqtidar Ali Shah, WASA Director Data Gunj Baksh Town Tariq Mahmood and Muhammad Ashfaq Tirmazi. The decision was taken after consideration of the facts of a case registered against them regarding irregularities in the Allama Iqbal Town Road rehabilitation project. Minor penalty of forfeiture of a year’s service has been imposed on WASA SDO Zohaib Butt. Cheema also invited proposals to review the process of the acquisition of land and allotment of plots in the Gulshan-e-Ravi Scheme.
