Govt reshuffles legal machinery, AG replaced

The government on Thursday reshuffled its legal machinery days before the Supreme Court ruling in contempt of court case against Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani.
The government replaced Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq with Irfan Qadir.
Haq has been appointed a consultant to the Presidency.
Irfan Qadir was serving as a law consultant in the President House.
Meanwhile, Yasmin Abbasi, former Sindh High Court judge, has been appointed the law secretary.
Earlier, Farooq Naik replaced Maula Bukhsh Chandio and took charge of the Law Ministry on Thursday.
