Pakistan International Airlines Retired Employees Association (PIAREA) President Tahir Hasan congratulated newly-appointed Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Managing Director Rao Qamar Suleman for assuming charge at the national airline.
The association’s president offered the new MD of cooperation of thousands of retired employees of PIA, possessing valuable experience for strengthening the national carrier on voluntary basis.
Hasan requested Suleman not to discard the previous management’s approval to set up PIA Foundation for the retired employees of the airline.
PIAREA also requested the PIA MD to raise the pension for retired employees from the current 32 percent to 50 percent, as per government rules.
