In its drive against criminal elements, the city police arrested 26 suspects during the past 24 hours from different areas of the city.
An official statement on Wednesday claimed that the alleged accused included proclaimed absconders and offenders, while two criminal gangs were also busted.
A rifle, two repeaters, 10 pistols and two mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the suspects and cases registered against them.
