The trials to select next cadre of boys for the PHF Hockey Academy Sialkot were observed by the PHF Academies Selection Committee on 10th April 2012 at Sialkot Hockey Stadium, Sialkot. Some 180 talented boys appeared for the trials. The Selection Committee comprised the following:- Olympian Khalid Bashir is the chairman while Olympian Muhammad Sarwar, Olympian Dilawar Hussain, Olympian Ahmed Alam are members and Rana Zaheer Ahmed is coordinator. For the PHF Hockey Academy Bahawalpur, the trials will be held on 13th April 2012 at Bahawalpur Stadium.
