The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) has decided to reopen the popular Friday and Tuesday ‘Bachat Bazaars’ to provide affordable quality shopping facilities to the public.
A DHA official said on Wednesday that the revamped bazaars were being restarted on public demand and would provide excellent shopping arena to the people to buy items of domestic use.
The first Friday Bazaar would be held at its old location of Khayaban-e-Jami DHA Phase VII on April 13.
Subsequently, the Tuesday and Friday Bazaars would be held regularly on the same venue.
The DHA has asked the bazaar contractor to ensure quality ambiance, hygiene and security at the premises to make it one of the best household shopping venues of the metropolis.
