2 bodies recovered; Indian cop commits suicide in IHK

Bodies of two persons were recovered from different parts of the Kashmir Valley.
According to Kashmir Media Service, body of a 25-year-old youth was recovered from river Jehlum at Rampora Chattabal in Srinagar. “The body is in decomposed form which shows that it has been in water from over 10-15 days,” police official at Qamawari police station said.
Another unidentified body of 12-year old girl was recovered from Nullah Bringi near Gowhar Pahroo in Kokernag in Islamabad. On the other hand, policemen beat up and injured half a dozen government employees of Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) during protest against the anti-people polices of puppet regime near Shaheed Gunj in Srinagar.
“Police action won’t deter us. We will continue our fight for our rights. Police arrested 75 of our employees including the Khursheed Alam, Fayaz Shabnum, Fayaz Andrabi, Muntazir Mohiuddin. They are presently lodged in Shergari and Shaheed Gunj police stations,” JCC Spokesperson, Farooq Ahmed Trali said.
Meanwhile, an Indian Central Reserve Police Force, head constable committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at Kursoo Rajbagh in Srinagar.
This raised the number of such deaths amongst Indian troops and police personnel to 238 since January 2007.
