Citizens of Karachi are suffering a lot due to lack of water. A person can survive for 30 days without food but without water a person cannot survive more than 15 days. Three major pumps at Dhabeji pumping station had broken due to continuous loadshedding. The difference between city water’s demand and supply is now 2.5 billion gallons. The KWSB has warned that if the KESC does not stop continuous loadshedding, the whole pumping station will be damaged and stop working.
I request the government to take action on immediate basis before it’s too late and save Karachi from being deprived of water.
