The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) on Monday foiled an attempt to smuggle a consignment of Hashish in the Windar area of Balochistan. A statement issued by PCG on Monday said that information was received by an official regarding the smuggling of narcotics through the RCD Highway. A special mobile patrolling team intercepted a mini truck at the Naka Khari check post and during inspection, 210kg Hashish was recovered from the hidden compartments inside the truck’s body. The driver of the truck was taken into custody along with the vehicle. Further investigation is in progress by the Special Investigation Team, the PCG statement said.
