Pakistani students are world’s most intelligent people like Arfa Karim and Sitara, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lead Malik Saiful Malook Khokhar said during the annual prize distribution ceremony of TECH Educational Welfare centre at TECH Society Club Lahore. “I am highly impressed with the performance of students and I am seeing bright future for them,” he said, adding that if these students worked with devotion and dedication, they would be able to play an effective role in the development of Pakistan. Qayyum Nizami former minister of state, Engr Abdul Majeed Khan, president TECH Society, Mian Sajjad Hameed, President PCSIR Society and Dr Waqar Ahmed, president Alpha Society also distributed prizes amongst the students who took top positions in various classes. Speakers believed that students were the future assets of Pakistan. Malik announced a donation of Rs 500,000 for the welfare free education high school for low income employees of the TECH Society.
Pakistanis are not genetically or culturally homogeneous, there is probably just one thing that might be a factor in anyone’s intelligence that might be common to at least some Pakistanis, and that is an education system (admittedly not a uniform one at all), and if anyone thinks the Pakistani education system makes people “intelligent”, they have another thing coming. So there is very little other than false and entirely misplaced pride that can make such an assumption.
