Industries to be exempted from load shedding: minister

Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Naveed Qamar said on Saturday that the industry would soon be exempted from electricity load shedding.
Briefing the media about a meeting of business leaders with President Asif Ali Zardari at the Governor’s House, he said that industrial units, which had their own feeders or were situated in an area where there was no load of other consumers, would be exempted from electricity load shedding from Monday. He said that several issues, including policy matters, had been discussed and the businessmen shared their problems with the president. Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan, All Pakistan Textile Mills Association Chairman Ejaz Gohar were also present in the meeting along with other leaders.

  1. why not a single water and power minister start talking about his actual job, to generate electricity and build dams. Instead they become minister for loadshedding!! If electricity can be generated by mere "talks" both PML and PPP would have surplus. Truth is, these idiot bunch dont even know how to make use of intelligent bureaucracy to create mega structures that country need.
