The continuous pressure from the Supreme Court led to the recovery of another missing person in Quetta who was presented before the SC branch registry on Saturday. The missing person identified as Zaman Marri was produced by the police officials of Sariab police station. On Friday, a three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry had warned that in case seven missing persons were not recovered, cases should be registered against police officers concerned and they should be arrested.
The brother of Zaman Marri had blamed the Sariab SHO along with unknown persons. SHO Nabi Bangash Mengal refuted the claims and stated that he had never come across this person over which the bench had castigated him with dire legal consequences. The IGP had also assured the bench about recovery of the missing person.
