Punjab government spokesman Senator Pervaiz Rasheed on Saturday said that during address to the PPP workers in Lahore, President Asif Ali Zardari hurt the sentiments of people by using abusive language against Sharif brothers and people of Punjab.
Talking to media persons here, he said that the hateful attitude of the president in his speech against PML-N chief and Punjabis was pre-planed policy devised by the PPP. It was not lack of education of president, he said.
He said that the president and his government had failed in resolving massive crisis facing the country and now he wanted to hide his mistakes of failures and ineligibility but the PML-N will certainly expose the president’s failures.
Senator Pervaiz Rasheed said that performance of the Zardari government remained zero in the four years of his government because even his PPP government could neither restore peace and law and order in Karachi nor overcome power and gas loadshedding in the country.
He said that president Zardari and his party leaders believe in verbal calculation and claims instead of practical service to poor masses, adding that the PPP was using abusive and bizarre language for hiding its corruption of billions of rupees.
The Senator from nowhere should know that Sharif brothers are no match for Zardari who has taken them for a joy ride from the beginning.Both brothers suffer from myriad phobias.Nawz from Army-phobia,Shabaz from incompetence-cum-corruption phobia as well.Their game is up and Imran Khan is ready to tear up their clannish rule.It is time for Sharifs to work for a grand coalition alliance of right wing parties,spend some of their ill-gotten money for their cause and prepare themselves to fight Imran to save a little enclave in Punjab for themselves.Otherwise they should prepare for oblivion from politics in Pakistan.
A futile attempt to play "Punjab Card". I dont think President Zardari said anything that may have had hurt Punabis feelings as much as Senator Rashid is vainly trying to portray it. The Sharifs, every body knows that, when in exile had tried to play politics even with dead body of their late father. That's why they had wished that the funeral be taken to Data Darbar. Their actual motive was just to show General Pervaiz Musharaf that they still had masses support. The funeral was rightly ordered to be taken to the Raiwind where he ultimately had to be hurried. Only a few had turned up to attend it while they were expecting it to be a mass gathering.

This is not first time that the abusive and bad language had been used agaisnt Punjabis by the PPP high command.In 1974 at Data Darbar Chowk,Lahore late zulfiqar ali bhutto also used the same uncivilised and provocated language agaisnt Punjabis as one of his spokeman asked bhutto the words he had spoken and got him realised that he was addressing in the heart of Punjab,bhutto was very clever and suddenly he realised his mistakes and asked to get it off from the record.It is Punjabis who boomed this ppp and now also some of groups are with them to again divide the peaceful country.Punjabis are so innocent that bhutto and its ppp totally separated East Pakistan due to his greediness policies to rule the country.This was zab who made general ayub khan his father and lateron he ruined his so-called father and with the push and backing by his mastermind america how he ruled the country and how quickly he was eliminated from the histry.same is the case with zardari he is following the naked and undemocratic policies to rule the country.he is on the line DIVIDE AND RULE..one day he will also face ,INSHAALLAH
