The Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) in collaboration with KONPAL (Child Right Abuse Society), Pakistan Paediatric Association (PPA) and Child Rights Committee (CRC) will hold a Health Walk on Sunday (tomorrow) to mark the World Health Day 2012.
The walk, arranged in consonance with the current year’s theme “Promote Healthy Lifestyle”, will be followed by Spring Celebrations at the Clifton beach, said the organisers on Friday.
The walk, led by DUHS Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Masood Hameed, aims at highlighting the importance of recreational activities and taking healthy food in maintaining proper physical and mental health.
The spring festival will include recreational activities for families, youth and children including face painting, kite flying, outdoor games, music, free health consultancy and tips, exchange of health messages and nutrition counselling.
