Three activists of the Pakistan People’s Party were shot dead while one man was injured by unidentified assailants near Urdu Chowk in Orangi Town on Friday. Police said the four men were sitting in a shop when armed motorcyclists opened fire on them and fled. All the four injured were rushed to hospitals, but three of them died before reaching there. One injured, Rana Gulzar 40, is still in critical condition. Ambulance sources said two men were rushed to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital while two other to Civil Hospital. They have been identified as Farhan, Guddo and Jano. Meanwhile, shops were closed in the area after the firing incident.
