Saudi Minister for Culture and Information Dr Abdul Aziz bin Mohiuddin Al-Khoja Thursday visited Pakistan National Council of Arts and witnessed Quranic calligraphic exhibition and a cultural show.
Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan accompanied him during his visit to the PNCA. The Saudi minister for culture and information is on a three-day official visit to Pakistan on the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan.
The Saudi minister was also a chief guest at a special musical performance by local artists, depicting Pakistani and Gandhara cultures. Besides poetry of Allama Iqbal, Sufi musical performance also marked the show. Besides the members of the Saudi delegation, Saudi Ambassador Abdul Aziz Al-Ghadeer, Information Secretary Taimur Azmat Osman and senior officers of the Ministry of Information were also present on the occasion.
